So today I returned from Spring Break. As I sit here waiting for my 6:30-9 pm class I find myself kinda down. I miss my family and wish it could have been longer. I don’t miss Monday’s where I’m at school from 8:30 am-9pm. I just have the Spring Break Blues… I’m also encouraged by the face that in a few years I’ll be done with the Spring Break Blues, long Monday’s, and school in general. In a few years I’ll be diving head first into ministry and directly into ministry with children.
I just want to go now, but God has called me to this time and I need to find strength and patience in that.
Find strength in this verse if you are struggling with God’s timing.
Hello everyone! I’ve been gone a while, but now I’m back. I hope yo all have been well. I’ve been doing pretty well. My fiancé and I have finally decided when we are getting married. June 3
rd of next year. It’s a bit to wait, but I am super excited! I know that God is going to bless our marriage so we can reach lost souls for furthering of His kingdom.
I’m so happy a couple of pieces of some exciting news: I’m a Women’s Leadership Major at Liberty University! I truly feel like this decision will make me fly higher than ever before. I get to learn more about being a leader within the church and in my minor, Family and Child Development, i’ll be able to learn more about children, so I can better serve them in the church.
I am also going to be working for Carolina Creek Christian Camp! I will be working with young girls and helping them fly their way through life with God right by their side! I don’t have the funds though to pay for the flights there. If you could help me out I’d really appreciate it! I have a GoFundMe set up and we will also be having a Yard Sale Fundraiser next Saturday!

1. Visit Australia – Honestly, just because it is so freakin’ gorgeous! And the accents are the only ones better than southerners 😉
2. grow my hair really long….again – Yes, again! I did at one point have super long hair and I miss it. If you have any hair tips or had any success with hair growth, please comment below!
3. Go on a cruise – to wherever honestly! I would love to go to the Bahamas or Hawaii!
4. buy my first home – with my future husband! I can’t wait to get married to my fiancé and I would love to buy our own home!
5. Visit Niagara Falls – I’m going to get in a few weeks!! YAY! I’m so excited!
Those are some of the things that I might not get to do, but I really want to!
Hi everyone! It’s that time of week again. It’s Wednesday! My favorite week at the birdhouse because we have friends over. That’s right, its “My Etsy Friends” time! “My Etsy Friends” is a weekly post where I bring one of my friends over and help showcase some of their fabulous items. It’s a great way to find the perfect gift for the one you love or the next dress up idea for your little ballerina.
Today we have Lori from Qt2t! Qt2t is a Etsy shop featuring the most adorable tutus you have ever seen! They’ve been open for about 2 years and I honestly haven’t seen better!
Qt2t’s Etsy Shop Banner
Lori has some words to say about herself and her shop!
“I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, friend and a “Grammy Wow”!
I have been crocheting most of my life. From afghans to bathing suits.
My passion and inspiration for making my tutu dresses came from my granddaughters. I have two wonderful sons that have married and brought GIRLS into my life. My granddaughters! I wanted to make something special for them. I love making my tutu dresses so much that I can’t stop. My daughter-in-law suggested that I start selling them on Etsy. That was almost two years ago:) I am so excited to know that little girls all over the world are wearing my dresses for wedding, birthdays and just being the princesses they are.
I love my family, friends, coffee, riding horses and going on new adventures.”
Lori is such a fun lady and I’m sure you’ll love her items! Now here is my favorite!
I love this one because of the color! I may have to get it for my wedding. For the flower girl of course 😉 It would go perfectly with my Red and Teal color scheme!
All her tutu dresses have incredible detail! I honestly don’t know how she does it!
God has gifted her with amazing talent so go check out Qt2t and fall in love with the dresses!
So, I know it has been awhile without post. Been kinda crazy at work and when I come home I don’t feel like posting. Sorry all! I will try to post daily from now on.
You’re probably wondering “What is with that title?“. It’s my favorite fast food biscuit! It can be done with anyone who offers what it is made of. Some of you probably think I am being “not christian like” by naming my favorite biscuit “Alpha and Omega Biscuit“, but I truly mean beginning and end!
The Alpha and Omega Biscuit is something I came up with probably years ago. I can’t never find something like this on the menu so I’m calling it a Fast Food Hack. If you know where something like this is let me know 😉 I want it!
Most places you can request to make this for you, but I wouldn’t call it the “Alpha and Omega Biscuit” they may look at you odd. Here is what it is made off:
- 1 Biscuit
- 1 Fried Egg
- 1 Slice of Cheese
- 1 Fillet of Fried Chicken
The Beginning is the egg and the End is the chicken 🙂 Funny name but delicious taste! I highly recommend not getting this a fast food restaurant that has super greasy biscuits.
Just a quick Fast Food Hack/Tip to brighten your morning tomorrow 🙂
